Event communications and production mentoring

I worked on two editions of Sắc Cam: as Public Relations Vice-Leader in 2024 and Production Team Mentor in 2025. My responsibilities covered event promotion, partner coordination and helping the production team develop images and videos for the programme.

Event context and communications

Hồi Thơ is a welcome program for new students organized by the Youth Union and Student Association of UEH’s School of International Business and Marketing. Its theme draws on childhood memories and openness to making friends, giving students opportunities to get to know one another at university.

The team ran an online challenge, produced an opening video and speaker introduction posts, and set up an on-campus booth before the event. The promotional visuals featured TV, cartoons and amusement parks; at the booth, childhood photos also appeared in a space for in-person interaction.

PR responsibilities and partner coordination

I developed the concept for the communications booth and helped produce it. I also planned social seeding, created promotional content and coordinated with the other teams to adjust the work at each stage.

For ambassadors and media partners, I prepared proposals, identified and contacted potential partners, and negotiated collaboration terms. I followed up on the work with them through event day.

Campaign content and event photography

Images, posts and event documentation were produced by the Sắc Cam team. My responsibilities in this edition centred on PR, the booth and partner coordination.

Event theme and visual direction

Khảm Sắc continued to welcome new UEH students, with a theme focused on identity and the cultural values each person brings. The program brought together stories of hometowns and roots through a shared activity for the student community.

Production training and feedback

I returned as a mentor and organised training sessions on visual thinking, graphic design and video editing. As the team developed the campaign materials, I reviewed the work and helped with revisions to keep it consistent with the programme's visual direction.

I also helped guide production of the teaser video and the key visual photoshoot. My support extended to 3D motion for the teaser and LED visuals for event day.

The team's work appeared online and on stage. The portfolio includes the key visual, social posts, 3D motion sequences for the teaser, LED motion pieces and photographs of the booth and live event.
